Izio Klein
MD
Dr. Klein has a medical degree and specialized in clinical psychiatry, with an emphasis on Interventional Psychiatry. He is an assistant
psychiatrist at the Institute of Psychiatry of the University of São Paulo, where he is currently part of the clinical staff of the
Interdisciplinary Neuromodulation Service and the Ketamine Unit. His main area of expertise is the use of transcranial magnetic
stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and Ketamine for the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders, both
in clinical care and in research. In addition, he works as preceptor for the Fellowship in Interventional Psychiatry at the same Institute.
Dr. Klein is a member of the Brazilian Psychiatric Association.
