We will review different approaches including targets derived from both structural and functional neuroanatomy. He is the Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. He is also the director of the Research Concentration in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Harvard Psychiatry Residency Training Program. He is the recipient of the Jonathan F. Borus Outstanding Early Educator Award and Stuart T. Hauser Mentorship Award from Harvard Medical School. His research focus is developing neuromodulation treatments for medication resistant symptoms of psychotic disorders. He is the Principal Investigator of multiple NIMH R01 funded clinical trials.
