Blumberger\, MD\, MSc\, FRCPC\, FCTMSS\n \nDr. Blumberger is a Senior Scientist in the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute at Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and a subspecialist in geriatric psychiatry. He is the Temerty Chair in Therapeutic Brain Intervention and the Scientific Director of the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention. He is the Chief of the General Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems Division at CAMH and is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He is the Provincial Clinical Lead for Neurostimulation Procedure for Ontario Health. \nHis primary area of research focuses on clinical intervention trials of neurostimulation and other novel treatments for depression across the lifespan. \nHe is the principal or co-investigator on multiple clinical trials using different interventional psychiatry modalities including: psilocybin assisted psychotherapy\, IV ketamine\, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)\, magnetic seizure therapy (MST)\, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
